Fight Fever Mende is a grassroots organisation operating in Mende, Wakiso District, inspired by the mission of the Fight the Fever Organisation. Our work focuses on empowering communities to fight fever naturally while addressing long-term social challenges such as poverty and lack of education.
Operating through local affiliates and community-based programs, the organisation adapts its interventions to local contexts while maintaining a shared mission and vision. We remain committed to transparency, ethical stewardship of resources, and measurable impact.

Our Mission
To combat fever-related illnesses through sustainable cultivation and community use of Artemisia afra, while uplifting vulnerable families through education, training, and community development.
How Fight Fever Mende Began
Fight Fever Mende was formed in response to the recurring burden of fever-related illnesses and limited access to education in Mende and surrounding areas.
Recognizing the healing potential of Artemisia afra and the transformative power of education, the organisation was established to serve the community holistically — addressing not just the symptoms of poverty and illness, but their root causes.
Today, through partnerships with local communities, faith-based institutions, and development partners, we support grassroots initiatives that integrate health, education, and economic resilience.
